ಗೋಂದಿ ಭಾಷೆಯು ಗೋಂದಿ ಜನರಿಂದ ಬಳಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮಧ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಗುಜರಾತ್, ಆಂಧ್ರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ, ಛತ್ತೀಸ್‌ಗಢ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಪಕ್ಕದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ೨೦ ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರಿಂದ ಬಳಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮಧ್ಯ ದ್ರಾವಿಡ ಭಾಷೆ–. ಇದು ಗೋಂದಿ ಜನರ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೇವಲ ಅರ್ಧದಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಇನ್ನೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಬಳಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಗೋಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಹೇರಳವಾದ ಮದುವೆಯ ಹಾಡು, ಕಥೆಗಳಂತಹ ಜನಪದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವಿದೆ.

ಗೋಂದಿ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಲಿಪಿಯ ಇರುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗಷ್ಟೇ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ
